How Does Centrifugal Casting Work?
To attain strong and durable cylinder liners and Air and water cooled blocks, it is important to follow the right process. Centrifugal casting is easy. We fix a mold in the shape we need and pour the molten metal into it. The mold rotates continuously and the metal slowly solidifies. The outer diameter is fine grained due to the rapid cooling of the mold’s surface. We can remove the impurities and get good quality cylinder liners and Air and water cooled blocks as they move towards the inner surface by centrifugal force.
